Enhancing coordination, gaining stamina, developing overall strength and flexibility, and recovering from an injury are just some of the many reasons we all exercise.  In line with more traditional types of yoga techniques, creator Juliu Horvath's aim is to bring the body, mind, and soul into union.  This ancient spiritual approach towards overall health has been focused into the emergence of an exercise system that has been created to answer the growing needs of a fast paced, dynamic culture.  It is modern day yoga for the modern day individual.

You are dynamically guided through seated, lying, and standing movements.  Before you know it, your spine is supple, your joints resilient, your muscles powerful, your mind relaxed, and your spirit energized.

The Gyrotonic method is the most unique holistic approach to movement, exercise, and rehabilitation. Its movement signature is circular motion which works to simultaneously stretch and strengthen the body. Gyrotonic exercises are performed on custom-designed equipment made with pulleys and weights which support total freedom of movement with no restriction to speed or versatility of movement. These classes provide clients support to grow their knowledge of the Gyrotonic method in a small class experience.

This class is designed to enhance your awareness of both your inner and outer bodies. Drawing on the foundations of classical ballet training, James incorporates various somatic principles to explore ballet technique in a more organic way. Occasionally, you'll hear Britney Spears or techno beats to elevate your energy and evoke joyful memories of dancing. This class is recommended for both ballet and contemporary dancers.

There are no mirrors in this class. This allows the dancer to strengthen their proprioception and cultivates a deeper listening to our inner world. The mirror does not have anything to do with the line we are trying to make in ballet. It changes the way people see and learn steps. James incorporates various somatic principles to explore ballet technique in a more organic way.  This class is recommended for beginning and intermediate dancers.
